Position Overview

The Customer Service & Parcel Operations Officer is the first point of contact for our customers. This role combines front-desk service, parcel handling, and till operations to ensure every customer experience is fast, accurate, and professional.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Welcome and assist customers with inquiries, service options, and parcel rates
  • • Handle all cash/till operations, payments, and receipts with accuracy
  • • Receive, inspect, and record incoming parcels for dispatch
  • • Generate and issue parcel labels, receipts, and tracking codes
  • • Enter data into digital parcel tracking and management systems
  • • Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues where necessary
  • • Maintain orderliness at the front desk and ensure a positive environment
  • • Coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure efficient parcel flow
  • • Prepare daily reports, reconcile till transactions, and support administrative tasks
  • • Adhere to all company procedures, safety, and data protection policies

Minimum Requirements

Education: Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or higher
Experience: No experience required, however those with experience in customer service, cash handling, retail, courier, or logistics roles will have an added advantage
Computer Skills: Proficiency with basic computer applications is a must (MS Office, digital POS systems)
Personal Traits: Be trainable, always pay attention to detail, reliability, and excellent communication skills with a very good smile
